Our France program is led by a dedicated Resident Director who embodies the cross-cultural spirit of Europe. With a background spanning elite athletics, academic research, and international education, our leadership in France ensures a sophisticated and safe environment for student exploration along the Mediterranean coast.
Dr. Zaida Galindo is a true European citizen and a powerhouse of academic and athletic achievement. Holding a Doctorate in Spanish Literature and History of Journalism, she has served as a Professor at the University of Perpignan and currently holds a prestigious teaching position through the French government.
Fluent in French, English, German, and Spanish, Zaida’s expertise spans the continent. Her academic pedigree includes degrees from the University of Seville, the University of Granada, and the University of Basel in Switzerland. Beyond her scholarly work, Zaida is an elite athlete and a veteran of the Camino de Santiago and the French Alps. Whether she is leading students through the rustic routes of Argelès-sur-Mer or sharing her research in Spanish history, Zaida’s passion for discovery and her "atletismo" spirit provide students with a mentor who is as intellectually stimulating as she is physically active.
