  • Fly with your group to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Cusco for a truly Andean experience. At an elevation of 11,152 feet Cusco is a magical city and was the capital of the Inca Empire. It was considered by the Incas to be the navel of the World.

  • Hike the ruins of the lost Inca citadel, Machu Picchu! Set high in the Andes overlooking the Urubamba River valley learn about the stone architecture of this intriguing place whose true use remains a mystery.

Tips & Advice

This program travels to a variety of landscapes and climates so pay close attention to the packing list!

  • Pack warm clothes for the high altitudes areas or better yet, buy an alpaca sweater in Cusco!

  • Comfortable hiking shoes are a must.

  • Read up on Peru before you depart. The more you prepare before you start your journey the more you will get out of it.
