Joining an Arcos Journeys Abroad program is an exciting first step toward global discovery. We’ve designed our application process to be transparent and supportive, ensuring every participant is well-prepared for their upcoming residency. Follow the steps below to secure your place.

Age Requirements: Most programs are open to students aged 14–18. Select programs may require a minimum age of 15 or allow a minimum age of 13.
Health & Fitness: Participants should review the physical requirements for "Active Discovery" sessions to ensure they can comfortably participate in all planned excursions. If you have questions about a specific itinerary's activity level, please contact us for a detailed breakdown.
Gap Year: Individuals 18 years of age may participate in the programs as long as they are in high school or have recently graduated.

Complete the online application and submit the $200 non-refundable program deposit.
Note: This deposit is applied directly to your total program balance. Your spot in the program is officially reserved once the deposit is received.
Step 2: Welcome & Courtesy Follow-up

After your application and deposit are submitted, an Arcos director will review your session selection. We often reach out for a courtesy follow-up call to say hello, confirm program details, and answer any initial questions you or your parents may have.
Step 3: Document Submission & Finalization

Once your initial application is processed, we will send you the necessary enrollment links to fulfill the remaining requirements. Using our secure online forms, you will upload your passport scan, medical information, and signed program contract.

We operate on a Rolling Admissions basis. Because our cohorts are kept small to ensure a high-quality experience, programs often fill months in advance.
Waitlist Policy: If a program reaches capacity, a waitlist will be opened. Arcos reserves the right to move deadlines forward for programs nearing capacity.
