Careful selection of homestays to match your interests and enhance your Spanish learning. Live conveniently within 15 minutes walking distance to the language school. Two to three students are normally placed per home and all houses have WiFi.
3 meals per day are prepared by your host in order to further experience Costa Rican cuisine and cooking traditions.
The Spanish school provides a mid-morning snack each class day which can include juice, pastries or tropical fruit from the property.
Cultural activities take place weekday afternoons after lunch and allow students to learn and experience the many unique aspects of Costa Rica. These can include a cooking class, art workshop, city tour, visit to an animal rescue center, and sports activities.
The first weekend is an overnight excusion to La Fortuna where you'll experience the thrill of a zipline through the rainforest and hiking to Costa Rica's premier waterfall.
The second week of the program you'll travel to Jacó beach for the day with a morning surf lesson and then a relaxing day at the tropical beach.
For those staying the third week you'll have an excursion to San José, the capital city, and another week of Spanish classes and afternoon activities.
This program accommodates all levels of Spanish learners. Just come with a desire to learn something new and experience the Spanish language first-hand!
