This program combines community service and Spanish language classes in Argentina to familiarize you with its amazing culture and to understand the challenges and needs of this vast South American city. This is an ideal program if you need community service hours for your high school. Community service experiences include education opportunities with youth, assisting after-school programs, and working with community support groups such as soup kitchens.

Spanish classes at a certified Cervantes Institute in Buenos Aires weeks 1 & 2 (40 hours).
Personalized community service placement weeks 3 & 4.

Spanish classes are included the first two weeks as an essential component to enhance the community service portion of your program which is during the second two weeks.

Live with a local homestay and learn more about the society, its realities, and its challenges.
Perform community service in the mornings during weeks 2 and 3.
The community service coordinator will work with you to best determine your placement. You will be assigned specific tasks based on your skills, Spanish level, and areas of interest, as well as the organization's needs. The tasks assigned depend on the placement.

Morning: Breakfast with your homestay and commute to your Spanish classes or community service project.
