Academic Records & Transcripts

Mexico: Participants earn an official transcript from the University of Oaxaca (UABJO).

Argentina: Students have the option to pay an additional fee to receive a transcript from a local School of Record.

Note: University transcripts are permanent academic records. While many U.S. institutions accept these credits, the final decision on credit transfer always rests with the receiving university.

In our Granada and Argentina programs, students study at a Cervantes Institute accredited center.

Upon completion, students receive a certificate that carries significant weight in the international community, as the Cervantes Institute is the world’s leading authority on Spanish language education.

Students in these programs receive an official Certificate of Completion from their respective language schools.

While these are not university transcripts, they are excellent "resume builders" for college applications, proving dedicated language immersion and cultural residency.

In addition to language proficiency, these certificates also document any completed community service hours, providing students with an official record for their high school requirements and college resumes."

For participants who complete community service in Argentina, Peru, or Costa Rica, Arcos provides an official letter detailing the specific projects completed and total hours served.

These letters are provided upon the conclusion of the program and are widely accepted by high schools and honor societies for service-hour verification.

Need an additional copy? If your program issued a University Transcript and you need copies for college applications, please use the request form below. For those who received certificates, please contact our office directly for digital re-issues.

All payments are made online via ACH/eCheck or credit card. We do not accept checks for additional transcript requests. After you submit your request form you will be sent an invoice with payment instructions. Once payment is received your transcript will be sent and you will receive email confirmation of its delivery. 

• Digital ($25.00): Secure PDF sent directly to the institution (Recommended).

• Mail Economy ($35.00): Sent via USPS (No tracking).

• Mail Expedited ($55.00): Includes priority processing and tracking.

• Transcripts are processed within 5 business days of receiving payment.

• Each transcript is accompanied by an Arcos cover letter.

• Digital:

  • All electronic transcripts will be emailed as PDFs. Arcos is not affiliated with any electronic transcript delivery services (i.e. National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, Scrip-Safe, etc).

• Mail:

  • Charges apply to transcripts being sent by regular U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

  • The mailing method is standard mail with no tracking number.

  • Requests that need to be processed within 3 business days or less are subject to the expedited processing and mailing fee. The expedited fee covers priority processing within 3 business days; however, these are still dispatched via regular USPS. If you require Overnight or 2-Day Courier shipping, please contact our office for a custom quote before submitting your request.

  • Should your transcript not arrive at its destination, it will be your responsibility to submit another request with payment for the transcript(s) to be resent. Tracking information is not available for transcript requests mailed through regular USPS.
