Take your soccer skills to the next level this summer in Southern Spain!

Arcos Journeys Abroad, in partnership with the Club de Fútbol Internacional de Granada (CFIG), offers you this unique soccer experience. CFIG is the only international soccer club in Granada with a mission to promote soccer and to encourage cultural exchange. Each morning you will train with CFIG's elite coaching staff learning new soccer skills and improving your technique. In the afternoons, enjoy visits to a wellness center with a complete gym, indoor pool, and sauna. This program is the perfect combination of soccer and cultural immersion. Come ready to have fun, meet new friends, and learn what Spanish-style soccer is all about! Two programs run parrell: one for female participants, one for male participants.

  • Soccer training and practice in a first division city.

  • Daily sports and gym activities.

  • Guided visit to the Alhambra Palace, Spain's most visited monument, and the ancient palace of the Moorish sultans.

  • Soccer training excursion to Spain's spectacular tropical coast.


  • Airport transfers (GRX) by a program director.

  • Soccer training in the mornings with CFIG coaches at one of Granada's premier soccer fields.

  • Afternoon fitness training at a local wellness center and gym, complete with pool and sauna.

  • An evening of bubble soccer fun.

  • A two day soccer training excursion to the Mediterranean coast. Soccer, sun, beach, and waves!

  • Soccer programming is a mix of training and playing scrimmages. Scrimmages are with local Spanish teenagers for a fun and interactive cultural and sports exchange.

  • Soccer tournament at the end of the program.

  • Granada city activities include a tour of the Albaicín, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the best preserved Moorish quarter in all of Europe.

  • Live in a top-end student residence hall. Healthy, homemade meals are provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Two participants are normally placed per room. There is WiFi.

Typical day

  • Morning: Breakfast and walk to the soccer field.

  • Soccer training in the morning.

  • Midday: Enjoy lunch and siesta.

  • Afternoon: Gym or sports activity.

  • Evening: Dinner, relax, and get a good night's sleep.
