Practice winter sports in South America this summer!
Join us for a ski and snowboard program like no other in alluring Patagonia on the Andean slopes of western Argentina. The program is based at Cerro Catedral, the premier ski resort and winter sports destination in Bariloche. The 1,485 acre park has 75 miles of pistes and is serviced by 38 ski lifts. Our program is planned during the height of the South American ski season. We'll meet in Buenos Aires for city tours and an orientation before catching our flight to the breathtaking Andes. Your adventure begins in vibrant Buenos Aires for two days of cultural tours and activities.
A group flight with the program director is included to Bariloche, in Argentina's wild Patagonia.
Once in Bariloche, participants will have seven days of activities at Cerro Catedral ski center with trained instructors. The program is adaptive to the skill level of the enrolled participants.
Two rest days are planned and include visits to the surrounding area with outdoor activities.
Bariloche is known for its natural beauty. This is the lake district of Argentina with the tall Andean mountains as the backdrop. The town itself was founded by German immigrants and has an old-world look and charm.
End the program back in Buenos Aires with a tango show and farewell dinner.
Typical day
Morning: Breakfast and spend the morning at Cerro Catedral ski center.
Midday: Enjoy lunch and a break with your group.
Afternoon: Hike and ski followed by tea or mate with snacks.
Evening: Group dinner, leisure time, and a good night's sleep.
