Start your day off with soccer training, matches, and outdoor activities. In the afternoons take advantage of our wellness and fitness center membership. This Arcos Journey includes a great assortment of outdoor activities to experience all that this incredible region of Spain has to offer. In addition to the soccer component, outdoor activities include mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, climbing, and swimming. So, what are you waiting for?   • Daily soccer trainings interspersed with sports activities at a local gym and wellness center and plenty of outdoor activities.

  • Soccer programming is a mix of training and playing games. Soccer games are with local Spanish teenagers for a fun and interactive cultural and sports exchange.

  • City activities include a scavenger hunt, tour of the Albaicin, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the best preserved Moorish quarter in all of Europe, and a flamenco performance. Granada is known for its Arabic influence and flamenco music and dance scene.

  • Hiking day at Los Cahorros, a natural area outside of Granada with hanging bridges and a mountain stream to swim in.

  • Mountain biking the forested trails above the Alhambra palace.

  • Hiking day in the Sierra Nevada mountains combined with kayaking and swimming in a mountain lake.

  • Rock climbing activity in the Alfaguara, a mountainous region of limestone outcroppings.

  • Live with our carefully selected homestays. Homemade meals are prepared by your homestay to experience Spanish cuisine and cooking traditions. Two participants are normally placed per home. All houses have WiFi.

Typical day

  • Morning: Breakfast with your homestay and walk to your scheduled activity.

  • Soccer or an outdoor activity in the morning.

  • Midday: Enjoy lunch and siesta at your homestay.

  • Afternoon: Cultural or sports activities.

  • Evening: Dinner at homestay, relax, and get a good night's sleep.
